Sometimes the best way to keep the "echo" positive is to silence the noise. If someone is being unkind, harassing you, or making you feel unsafe, use these steps to block them immediately.
Go to the person’s profile.
Tap the three dots (...) in the top right corner.
Tap Block.
Pro-tip: Select the option to block "this account and any new accounts they may create" for extra protection.

X (formerly Twitter)

Note: You can also block someone directly from a post by tapping the three dots above the post.
Go to the person’s profile.
Tap the three dots (...) next to the Message button.
Tap Block and confirm.
Note: Blocking on Facebook also blocks them on Messenger automatically.
YouTube
Go to the person’s Channel page.
Click About (or the three dots on mobile).
Click the Flag icon (or "Hide user from my channel").
This prevents them from commenting on your videos or interacting with you.
Blocking stops the person from reaching you, but Reporting alerts the platform to their behavior so they can't do it to others.
Capture the Evidence: Take a screenshot of the message, comment, or post. Many platforms delete the content once it is reported, so having a record is important.
Don’t Engage: It’s tempting to fight back, but that often gives the person the attention they want. Screenshot, Block, and Report instead.
Tap the three dots (...) above the post or on the person’s profile.
Select Report.
Choose "It's Inappropriate" or "Bullying or Harassment".
You can report specific comments by swiping left (iOS) or tapping and holding (Android) and selecting the exclamation icon.
